Pearl River

Pearl River was originally established in 1956 by the Chinese government with the Guangzhou piano factory in Guangzhou, China.
The company entered the U.S. market in 1999 as Pearl River Piano Group and is now the best selling piano in China, with the largest piano manufacturing facility in the world, producing pianos that are shipped worldwide to over 80 countries.
Pianos are made under the Pearl River, Ritmüller, and Kayserburg names. They also make, or have made, other brand names under contracts with other distributors like: Henry F. Miller (for Californian chain, Sherman Clay), Essex (for Steinway and Sons), Ackerman, Beale, Brentwood, Charles Albrecht, Cristofori, Fandrich & Sons, Hastings, Langston, Lyrica, Offenbach, George Steck, Hallet & Davis, Ridgewood, Ritmuller, Rohrbach, Sagenhaft grand pianos (for Weber Piano Company), Sangler & Sohne, Schoenbach, Steiff & Sohne, Wieler, R Shirmer, Waldstein, among others.
