Centre Pin

在鋼琴裡，有許多微小卻至關重要的零件，支撐著整個琴膽的運作。其中一個常被忽略但極其關鍵的，就是 Centre Pin。雖然它的體積微小，卻直接影響到彈奏時的手感與靈敏度。

什麼是中心銷

• 小型鋼製銷釘，作為鋼琴擊弦機構中各部件的樞軸或鉸鏈。

• 通常安裝在帶有毛氈襯套的 木製鉸座 (flange) 中，使零件能平順且受控地擺動。

使用位置

• 傳遞槓桿 (wippen)

• 琴槌柄 (hammer shank)

• 制音桿 (damper lever)

• 簡單來說，凡是需要來回擺動的部件，都依靠 Centre Pin 作為支點。

為什麼重要

• 過緊 → 動作僵硬、遲鈍，甚至會卡住。

• 過鬆 → 部件晃動，造成雜音、觸鍵不均或控制力下降。

• 鋼琴技師常會進行 換銷 (repinning)，以恢復正常的手感與靈敏度。

尺寸規格

• Centre Pin 有不同直徑，傳統上以 音樂線規 (Music Wire Gauge, MWG) 表示。

• 技師會根據實際需要，選擇能讓部件既能自由活動又不會過度鬆動的尺寸。

總結來說，雖然 Centre Pin 只是鋼琴裡最不起眼的小零件之一，但它卻是確保擊弦機構靈敏、順暢、富有音樂表現力的關鍵。
